# Leghis-smart-thinking

This MCP server lets an agent check calculations, locate evidence in sources, and run code tests. Use it when you want those checks initiated through plain-language requests.

## What it does

An agent can recalculate an expression, locate a passage supporting a claim, or run permitted tests in an isolated environment. For code checks, the server reports which files were tested; changes made afterward need a fresh run. Test results apply to the suite that actually ran.

Requests go to a hosted service, where dossiers and results are stored. Code files run in a separate sandbox, and the client does not inspect your disk. Anonymous dossier IDs carry access capabilities, so keep them private. Public access uses shared quotas.

A local MCP client requires Node.js version 22.16 or later, plus internet access, and uses an `mcpServers` configuration. The Claude Code install command connects over HTTP. Model reviews can be wrong, so treat them as fallible rather than as a guarantee of correctness.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http leghis-smart-thinking https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add leghis-smart-thinking --url https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "leghis-smart-thinking": {
            "url": "https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "leghis-smart-thinking": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http leghis-smart-thinking https://server.smithery.ai/@Leghis/smart-thinking/mcp
```

## When to use it
- recalculate a discount and fee from an expression
- locate source passages that support a claim
- run permitted tests against a code change
- check the order of steps before publishing

## Example prompts
- Recalculate a 20% discount on 80 euros, then add a 15% fee to the discounted amount.
- Find the source passage behind this claim and show its context.
- Run permitted tests for this change and list the files they covered.
