## What it does

Legalize is a remote Streamable HTTP server hosted at `https://legalize.dev/mcp`. You do not install local packages. When an agent queries a statute, the server returns complete articles instead of fragmented snippets. Each answer provides the text and the git commit SHA backing the quote.

The underlying legal corpus remains strictly read-only. Calling tools requires signing into Legalize on the first request. You can inspect unified diffs between two historical dates with `diff_law` or view amending norms via `reform_history`. Creating alert webhooks or daily email digests requires an active paid account.

## When to use it
- retrieve full statutory text by law title or official number
- look up the exact wording of a law on a historical date
- inspect unified diffs between two versions of legislation
- trace the history of amendments modifying a statute
