# LeanTrading MCP

Connects Claude Code and other MCP clients to LeanTrading over OAuth. Access depends on account eligibility, and requests are read-only by default.

## What it does

The server gives an MCP client access to LeanTrading context, intelligence, risk previews, advice, and chart data. It connects through OAuth at `https://www.leantrading.io/api/mcp`. Supported clients include Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.

Access requires a Pro, Elite, Blueprint, or Admin account. Product Testers qualify during the first 14 days after receiving that status, then need Pro; Explorer and free accounts cannot use the hosted service. The default request scope is read-only. Chart changes, writes, and execution need stronger permissions and confirmation, while silent broker order placement is not available through MCP.

Permissions are checked on every call. The service audits request metadata but does not retain raw tool arguments. Review the requested scopes and LeanTrading’s privacy and security notices before connecting an account.
