## What it does

This is a hosted MCP service operating at `https://kvasir.legal/mcp`, which means it requires no local build. Standard language models hallucinate amended statutes or cite repealed directives because of static training data. By querying official sources, this server resolves citation strings to their actual wording in force.

The database indexes around 460,000 norms and 512,000 court rulings. Built-in tools include `resolve_citation` for exact provisions, `check_draft` for reviewing entire memos, and `get_legal_relations` to trace which decisions cite a particular article. Data streams over HTTP.

Running requests requires an account via OAuth or an `X-API-Key` header. The free tier includes 2,000 units per month. Note that judicial decisions for Switzerland, Saxony, Brandenburg, and Bremen are currently not part of the corpus.
