# KooLink URL Shortener

## What it does

This integration exposes a single tool called `shorten_url`, accepting a target address in JSON format. It converts long URLs into compact kool.ink links suitable for terminal outputs and chat messages.

Communication happens via HTTP transport with the remote host at `https://mcp.kool.ink`. You do not need to install local npm packages or maintain runtime dependencies on your machine. However, your client environment must be able to reach that remote domain over the network.

Each generated URL records visitor clicks while filtering out automated crawler hits. The platform also offers the Creator Earning Programme based on link traffic growth.
