## What it does

This server provides 57 open-source tools communicating with the Meta Marketing API. An agent can draft ad sets, upload creative assets, inspect catalog setups, and query audience criteria directly in chat. Tools are organized into read-only data queries, operator-confirmed writes, and advisory recommendations.

Safety mechanisms prevent accidental ad spend. The server initializes every new ad in a paused state. Every budget alteration, deletion, or campaign activation demands direct operator approval before execution.

A valid `META_ACCESS_TOKEN` is mandatory. Meta system user tokens are recommended. Without active credentials, the server cannot inspect accounts or apply campaign changes.

## Requirements
- Needs: Python and uv (commands run via uvx)
- Environment variables: `META_ACCESS_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add konquest-meta-ads-mcp -e META_ACCESS_TOKEN=<META_ACCESS_TOKEN> -- uvx konquest-meta-ads-mcp
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from konquest-meta-ads-mcp <command>

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add konquest-meta-ads-mcp --env META_ACCESS_TOKEN=<META_ACCESS_TOKEN> -- uvx konquest-meta-ads-mcp
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from konquest-meta-ads-mcp <command>

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:

            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from konquest-meta-ads-mcp <command>
### GitHub Copilot
**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{

            }
        }
    }
}
```
Replace <…> with your own values. uvx runs the command named after the package; if the README names another one, use uvx --from konquest-meta-ads-mcp <command>
### Gemini CLI
**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add -e META_ACCESS_TOKEN=<META_ACCESS_TOKEN> konquest-meta-ads-mcp uvx konquest-meta-ads-mcp
