# Kevin's Coaching Brain

Find Kevin Middleton’s football coaching advice through an MCP server that returns matching passages with links to their sources. Use it to plan sessions or prepare for match day.

## What it does

Ask about planning a session for an age group, choosing a coaching method, or handling parents. The server searches Kevin Middleton’s writing and returns relevant excerpts with a link for each one. It can also list the articles in its collection.

Two tools are available: `search_brain(query, limit)` searches for relevant passages, while `list_sources()` returns the article list and links. Both tools are read-only, and calls require no account sign-in. Requests are rate-limited using your IP address, with the counter kept for about a minute. That matters if you’re reviewing how network requests are handled.

In Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add --transport http coaching-brain https://brain.360tft.com/api/brain/mcp`. It also supports Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, Zed, and Gemini CLI.
