## What it does

KDAN PDF connects PDF editing tools to an AI assistant. Ask it to remove pages, reduce a file’s size, set or change a password, compare document versions, or prepare a download link. Attach the PDF to your request; several operations can be described together.

For redaction, the server removes selected content from the PDF rather than covering it with a black overlay. That distinction matters when the file contains information that must not remain recoverable. Add the MCP server to Claude Code with its command and server address. Other listed platforms include Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed.
