# IP Judge

Check the IP and network exit seen by an MCP client, look up regional support for AI services, or inspect official service status. Useful when terminal and browser traffic may take different routes.

## What it does

IP Judge connects over Streamable HTTP. Its `my_exit` tool checks the exit of the machine sending the MCP request; `check_ip` evaluates an IPv4 or IPv6 address, while `ai_availability` compares a region with the official support lists for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Muse. `service_status` retrieves official status for services including Claude, OpenAI, Cursor, GitHub and Cloudflare.

The server is free and needs no key for basic use. Without a key, each visitor can make up to 40 new queries per 10 minutes. Add it to Claude Code with `claude mcp add --transport http ipjudge https://ipjudge.org/mcp`. A web connector sends requests from the platform’s servers, so `my_exit` reports their network exit rather than your computer’s.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://ipjudge.org/mcp`

## Install

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http ipjudge https://ipjudge.org/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add ip-judge --url https://ipjudge.org/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**

- classify an IPv4 or IPv6 address as residential or datacenter
- check whether a region is officially supported by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Muse
- inspect official status for Claude, OpenAI or Cursor

## Example prompts
- Check the network exit visible from this computer and explain what the result means.
- Look up the type and risk details for IP address `8.8.8.8`.
- Check whether my region is officially supported by ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
