## What it does

Inoh exposes the Inoh dictionary and a user’s private vocabulary cards through MCP. The connected assistant can search a word or phrase, check personal decks, place an existing card in a deck, or create a new card with a definition, sample sentence, audio, image, and quiz choices. Cards can also be revised or removed.

The server can read a deck without a search term, return recently added or older entries, and start a review session. Answers from the conversation are saved with `record_review`, so stopping partway through does not discard the recorded progress. A card keeps its review history when it appears in more than one deck.

A free Inoh account is required. Sign-in happens in the browser through Inoh’s email flow, while the client connects to `https://mcp.inoh.app/mcp`. Deleting a private card is permanent, so use deck removal when you only want to take it out of one collection.

## When to use it
- look up an unfamiliar word
- build a flashcard for a chosen meaning
- check whether a word is already in your decks
- start a vocabulary review in chat
- remove a card from one deck or delete it

## Example prompts
- Look up `serendipity` and put the existing card in my Inoh deck.
- Check whether I already have `runway`, then make a card for its startup-writing meaning.
- Review today’s words from my decks and save how well I answer each one.
