## What it does

This bridge connects AI coding agents to an active Ikenga desktop shell. Through the MCP protocol, an assistant inspects DOM nodes, navigates between internal views, clicks UI elements, and types into fields. It also captures window screenshots to let models verify the interface layout.

The server is maintained inside the official `ikenga-pkgs` Apache-2.0 monorepo and distributed via npm as `@ikenga/mcp-iyke`. The tool relies on a running instance of the `ikenga` desktop program; attempting to execute actions without the shell active fails.
