## What it does

The server connects an assistant to Ignite UI documentation and API references. It is also described as supporting CLI scaffolding; the CLI can create projects and add component templates. Available framework options mentioned for the CLI include Angular, React, and Web Components.

To run it through Claude Code, use `npx` with the `@igniteui/mcp-server` package. Node.js and access to `npx` are required; without them, the server command will not run. The server can also be configured for Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf (Devin Desktop), Cline, and Zed.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
