## What it does

This server ties seven Apple applications to your coding assistant through 41 tools. It provides two switchable execution modes. Local mode runs AppleScript commands against desktop macOS programs, avoiding account passwords. Cloud mode connects through IMAP, SMTP, CalDAV, and CardDAV, which allows it to operate on non-macOS systems.

Changing modes happens on the fly with `set-mode`. The process communicates via standard input and output with JSON-RPC, listening on no network ports. Reading Apple Messages requires installing the `imsg` CLI utility alongside Full Disk Access permissions.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `USE_LOCAL_MODE`, `ICLOUD_EMAIL`, `ICLOUD_APP_PASSWORD` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
