## What it does

Home Renovation Free Tools brings renovation utilities into an MCP connection. Its collection covers material and cost estimates for paint, tiles, flooring, concrete, drywall, roofing, and other work. It also includes room-planning tools, document generators, contract templates, and contractor directories.

You can connect Claude Code to a hosted HTTP endpoint or run the `home-renovation-free-tools` package locally with `npx`. The hosted connection does not require an API key. Choose the local route when the MCP process should run in your own environment.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
