## What it does

This server links your coding agent to the `hlist.cc` catalog. It exposes three operations: `search_ai_tools`, `get_tool`, and `list_categories`. The assistant queries software by category, pulls verified pricing models, and reads GitHub star counts. Data refreshes every day at 06:00 UTC from sources like Hacker News and HuggingFace Spaces.

Every entry tracks availability behind China's network boundary. Probes from mainland egress return four possible states: `ok`, `unstable`, `blocked`, or `unknown`. The catalog team validates prices against vendor websites directly rather than relying on scraping aggregators.

Because the endpoint lives at `https://hlist.cc/api/mcp`, you avoid managing local runtimes or environment variables. The service has no rate limit and requests no authentication header.
