## What it does

heor-agent gives an AI coding host tools for HEOR research: literature search across 44 sources, bias assessment, cost-effectiveness and budget impact work, plus NMA/MAIC analysis. It also supports dossier preparation for NICE, FDA, EMA, and EU JCA workflows.

The current release lists 45 tools. Examples include `literature_search`, `validate_links`, `irb_review`, `jca_pico_scope`, and `hta_dossier`. Its workflow can connect evidence gathering with RWE tasks and later document preparation, such as moving from a PICO scope to an HTA dossier draft.

Local setup runs through `npx`, so Node 20 or newer is required. In Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add heor-agent -- npx -y heor-agent-mcp`, then restart Claude Code.

## When to use it
- search HEOR literature across multiple sources
- assess bias in clinical studies
- model cost-effectiveness and budget impact
- scope a PICO for EU JCA work
- draft an HTA dossier from a defined scope

## Example prompts
- Search the literature on semaglutide cost-effectiveness in T2D with `literature_search`, then validate the returned links.
- Run `irb_review` for an industry-funded Phase 2 intervention study and produce the review tier and DMP requirements.
- Use `jca_pico_scope` for osimertinib in EGFR-mutant 2L NSCLC, then draft the dossier with `hta_dossier`.
