An MCP server that puts a website online from a single tool call. Pick ephemeral hosting or keep it around.

## What it does

Hatch is a remote MCP server at `https://mcp.theroost.dev/mcp`. Your agent calls its tool and gets back a working page: either short-lived or permanent. Handy when a client wants to click through the layout, or when local preview is not enough to trust the result.

Transport is HTTP, so there is no local process to babysit. Wiring it up takes one terminal command on most platforms, or a config entry where that is the norm. No account, no API key — the URL is the whole setup.

Supported clients include Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and Gemini CLI. One catch: the server lives on the network, so an air-gapped machine or a blocked `mcp.theroost.dev` means nothing gets published.

## Requirements

- Works with: GitHub

## When to use it
- publish a finished page and share the link
- show a client a live prototype without deploying
- test how a page behaves on real hosting
- spin up a throwaway demo site
- let the agent publish without manual steps

## Example prompts
- Publish this page with Hatch and give me the link
