# HasData Google Images

This MCP server searches Google Images and returns source pages, thumbnails, and full-size image URLs as JSON. Use it when an agent needs image results with filters.

## What it does

HasData Google Images exposes one read-only search tool to an MCP client. A query can include Google filters for image size, color, and type. The response contains up to 100 results with titles, source domains, originating pages, direct image URLs, thumbnails, dimensions, and result positions.

The service runs remotely over streamable HTTP, so there is no container to maintain. Access requires a HasData API key supplied through `HASDATA_API_KEY`; authentication fails without it. Clients that only support stdio can use `@hasdata/google-images-mcp` from npm or `hasdata-google-images-mcp` from PyPI. Each successful call costs 10 credits, while the free tier provides 1,000 credits per month.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp?apis=google_images`
- Environment variables: `HASDATA_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
