# HasData Bing

A hosted MCP server lets an agent query Bing and receive organic listings, ads, and Copilot output as JSON. Useful for location- and device-specific search checks.

## What it does

HasData Bing exposes one read-only search tool through a hosted MCP endpoint. It returns structured JSON for Bing’s organic listings and can include the ad section and Copilot response shown with the page. Requests can carry a country, market, language, location, device type, and search filters.

You can connect over streamable HTTP or use `@hasdata/bing-mcp` as a stdio launcher. A `HASDATA_API_KEY` is required for authenticated requests, so the key must be available in the client configuration. The server reads search pages; it does not edit Bing data.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp?apis=bing`
- Environment variables: `HASDATA_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.

- compare desktop and mobile rankings
- collect ads shown for a query
- retrieve Copilot text with cited pages
