# HasData Amazon

This MCP server lets an agent search Amazon, inspect products, and read seller data. It fits workflows that need machine-readable marketplace results.

## What it does

HasData Amazon exposes four read-only tools for Amazon data. An agent can search by keyword, fetch a product using its ASIN, inspect a seller profile, or browse that seller’s catalogue. Results are returned as JSON, using information visible on public Amazon pages to signed-out visitors.

The service is remote and uses streamable HTTP at `https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp?apis=amazon`. Claude Code can connect through the supplied `npx` stdio launcher, while clients with remote MCP support can use the HTTP endpoint. Requests need `HASDATA_API_KEY`, passed as an environment value or authentication header.

The server covers Amazon’s regional domains and can support comparisons across storefronts. It reads public pages only, so data that requires an Amazon login is outside its reach.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.hasdata.com/mcp?apis=amazon`
- Environment variables: `HASDATA_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
