## What it does

The server connects your coding agent to public listings on the hangel social impact platform. It exposes ten read-only tools, including `search`, `fetch`, `search_ngos`, `list_volunteering`, and `list_open_funds`. You can filter civil society organisations by city or inspect their transparency ratings right inside your chat session.

It runs over stateless HTTP at `https://hangel.org/api/mcp`. No authentication token is required. Incoming calls face per-IP rate limits, and the backend strictly filters out private data like phone numbers, email addresses, and meeting links.

The platform does not process direct cash donations. Instead, shopping via hangel Market routes a set portion of each purchase to partner charities, which the tools can look up directly.
