# GuruWalk Affiliates

Wires the GuruWalk free walking tour catalog into your agent: find tours by city, category or date, and get booking links that carry your affiliate ref.

## What it does

Three tools ship with the server. `discover_destination` looks up a city and returns its categories plus a page of featured tours. `browse_category` takes a category id and lists the tours inside it. `check_availability` takes a tour id and a date range, then returns the time slots. Tour names and descriptions come back in the language you ask for: `en`, `es`, `de` or `it`.

The transport is Streamable HTTP in stateless mode, so nothing carries over between calls. Set that in your client config — `stateless: true` or the equivalent. No valid key means `401 Unauthorized` on every request, so get one before you connect. Send it as `Authorization: Bearer <api_key>` or as `Api-Key: <api_key>`.

Every `url` and `booking_url` in a response already carries `?ref=<username>`, which is how bookings from your agent get credited to your account. Strip or edit those parameters and the attribution is gone. On the client side, any MCP-compatible library works: `mcp` for Python, `@modelcontextprotocol/sdk` for TypeScript.
