# gtm-api: LinkedIn MCP Server

Connect an AI agent to LinkedIn actions such as profile search, invitations, messaging, and account enrichment. Use it to work with an account you own through an MCP client.

## What it does

The server connects an MCP client to a LinkedIn account you control. An agent can search profiles, send invitations and messages, and enrich account data. It exposes more than 160 actions, grouped so the agent can inspect a toolset before choosing an action.

Before an outward action, the server presents a preview and checks the account’s daily limit. In Claude Code, connect over HTTP; the first call starts an OAuth consent flow in your browser. Add the server with the command in the FAQ, then connect your LinkedIn account. Actions run on that account, so review each preview before confirming.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://mcp.gtm-api.com/mcp`
- Environment variables: `GTM_MCP_URL` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
- Works with: LinkedIn
