## What it does

This tool connects your assistant to Trends API endpoints via HTTP without web scraping. It delivers normalized relative interest scores scaled 0 to 100 over custom dates, calculates growth rates across windows, and retrieves ranked live trending topics.

Keyword queries target Google web search by default. You can direct parameters toward images, news, or shopping feeds while navigating through paginated top trend listings.

A valid `TRENDSAPI_KEY` is required. Missing credentials trigger a 401 error immediately. Each successful call consumes API quota units.
