## What it does

Geztio Platform is the official MCP server for the Geztio construction management platform. Ask the assistant for a unit cost analysis and it returns the recipe split across material, equipment, labor and transport, with yields and waste factors resolved against a chosen price list. It also walks CBS chapter trees with quantities and line totals, and lists the active regional or project price lists.

Writes are covered too: new APU recipes, adding or removing resource items, new budget chapters, quantity updates, new projects. Access is split by scope. `geztio:read` keeps you read-only across catalogs, budgets and projects, while `unit_costs:write`, `resources:write`, `budgets:write`, `projects:write` and `operations:write` each unlock a specific kind of change. Your seat tier decides what money you see — the office tier gets direct costs, currencies and line totals, the field tier gets quantities and recipes with cost fields masked as `null`. Worth knowing before you hand this to a site supervisor.

Bulk resource imports run asynchronously. The call hands back an `execution_id`, and a separate tool reports progress, errors and quota usage. The endpoint is a remote Streamable HTTP server at `https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp`; the first connection triggers an OAuth 2.0 handshake that ties the session to your organization and member account.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http platform https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add geztio-platform --url https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "geztio-platform": {
            "url": "https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "geztio-platform": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http geztio-platform https://mcp.geztio.co/mcp
```

## When to use it
- break an APU down into its material, labor and equipment items
- compare two similar unit costs and spot the differing items
- flag missing prices and statistical outliers in a price list
- walk a CBS chapter tree and check quantities per chapter
- bulk-import resources and poll the job status

## Example prompts
- Look up the unit cost with this code and show its composition at the active price list
- Compare these two similar unit costs and explain what differs between them
- Audit this price list for suspicious price variances and gaps
