## What it does

The MCP server gives an agent access to tools for querying business registries. Those tools can help check companies and beneficial owners, find insolvency records, and screen for adverse media. Registry access runs through Apify actors, so the available sources depend on the tools you connect.

For a local setup, provide an `APIFY_TOKEN` and run `npx -y getregdata-mcp`. Without the token, paid Apify actors cannot process requests. The repository also contains workflow skills for KYC/AML, credit risk, property checks, compliance, and B2B lead research. The server exposes registry tools; the skills provide research workflows.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `APIFY_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
