## What it does

Geartowns MCP Server is embedded in the Geartowns emulator and exposes debugging tools to Claude Code, Codex, and other MCP clients. An agent can control execution, inspect memory and hardware state, use rewind, and work with the emulator’s debugger.

Geartowns is a C++ Fujitsu FM Towns emulator for Windows, macOS, Linux, and BSD. Its debugger includes a disassembler, breakpoints, call-stack views, register inspection, and peripheral viewers. The server is tied to Geartowns, so it is meant for emulator debugging rather than general project analysis.
