## What it does

fynk MCP Server is a hosted remote MCP connection at `https://app.fynk.com/mcp`. Its 68 tools let an assistant search contracts, inspect fields and metadata, create documents from templates or PDFs, manage parties and signers, move work through review and signing, apply tags, and archive records. Available actions follow the permissions of the connected fynk user.

Authentication uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE, so an API key is not required. You need an Essential, Business or Pro fynk account, or an active trial, and an account owner must enable MCP in the account settings. Without that switch, the server will not connect. PDF-based contract creation also requires the client to send files over the network.

In Claude Code, add the server with `claude mcp add --transport http mcp https://app.fynk.com/mcp`, then open `/mcp` in a session and authenticate. Contract data is passed to the connected AI client, so strict EU data-residency requirements call for a separate review.

## Requirements

- search contracts by title, fields or metadata
- draft a contract from a template or PDF
- populate fields and assign parties
- move a document into review or signing
