## What it does

The server gives assistants access to Frase tools for copy preparation and search analytics. It lets the model inspect search results, evaluate intent, create outlines, and update existing articles. Additional tools handle page audits for E-E-A-T and SEO scores, track AI crawler traffic, and pull data from Google Search Console.

Setup works in two ways. You can connect to the hosted remote endpoint at `https://next.frase.io/api/mcp` using browser OAuth. Alternatively, you can run the package locally via `npx`. Running the server locally over stdio requires a valid `FRASE_API_KEY` from your account settings.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Remote server: `https://next.frase.io/api/mcp`
- Environment variables: `FRASE_API_KEY`, `FRASE_API_URL` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
