# flow-nexus

## What it does

flow-nexus plugs into your editor as an MCP server and hands the agent cloud tools: spin up an agent swarm, create a sandbox, run distributed training, or wire an event-driven pipeline. Under the hood it runs three linked MCP servers. You drive it through tools like `mcp__flow-nexus__swarm_init` and `mcp__flow-nexus__sandbox_create`.

Three keys are required: `FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY`, `E2B_API_KEY` and `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY`. Without them the server won't start. Registration and login go through the command line or the `user_register` and `user_login` MCP tools. New users get 256 rUv credits to start.

The platform is built around competition: tournaments, leaderboards and rewards for code. Sandboxes and compute live in the cloud, so you need internet access and pay-as-you-go billing. Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline and Zed are supported.

## Requirements

- Environment variables: `FLOW_NEXUS_API_KEY`, `FLOW_NEXUS_BASE_URL`, `E2B_API_KEY`, `ANTHROPIC_API_KEY` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
