## What it does

This is a hosted HTTP server, so nothing runs on your machine. Point the client at `https://mcp.flexreportfinapi.com/mcp` and the browser handles sign-in on your first data call: register or log in, and no token gets pasted anywhere.

The tools cover separate jobs. Event subscriptions (`register_event_subscription`, `stream_event_subscription`) push publications as they land, and the `report_plan` topic fires when a report is ready. `get_latest_report` pulls a report by ticker; a fresh plan takes 10-20 s according to the README, and a symbol marked `stale` or `missing` can be rebuilt with `generate_report_for_stock`. Screening runs through `screen_stocks`, `explore_data_catalogue` and `get_technical_indicator_data`.

OAuth is not optional. Skip it and no data comes back — that is where setup usually stalls. In Claude, `--scope user` makes the server available in every directory instead of just the current project. The README claims 2,900+ companies and 750M+ datapoints behind the tools.
