# Figranium MCP

Wires your agent into a Figranium instance so browser automation Tasks can be created, run and scheduled without touching the API by hand.

## What it does

Figranium stores website workflows as reusable Tasks. This package is the local STDIO client that exposes them to an agent through tools: `task_list`, `create_task`, `task_execute`, `execution_list`, plus the `schedule_*` group for timers. A resource at `figranium://schemas/task-v1.json` lets a client read the Task schema.

You need a Figranium instance already running and an API key taken from its settings. Leave `FIGRANIUM_API_KEY` out and the process stops with a setup message instead of starting. The default target is `http://localhost:11345`; point `FIGRANIUM_BASE_URL` elsewhere for a different host. When the server itself lives in Docker but Figranium stays on the host, swap in `http://host.docker.internal:11345`.

Bad Task payloads come back with structured validation diagnostics, so the agent can fix its own request. Figranium's instructions cover Task construction, selector choice, variables and sequencing. Clients that speak remote OAuth can use the hosted endpoint `https://mcp.figranium.dev/mcp`, which reaches a publicly available instance.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI**
```bash
claude mcp add figranium-mcp -- npx -y figranium-mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI**
```bash
codex mcp add figranium-mcp -- npx -y figranium-mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "figranium-mcp": {
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "figranium-mcp"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "figranium-mcp": {
            "type": "stdio",
            "command": "npx",
            "args": [
                "-y",
                "figranium-mcp"
            ]
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini mcp add figranium-mcp npx -y figranium-mcp
```

## When to use it
- turn a chat description into a browser automation Task
- re-run an existing Task with different variable values
- check how earlier executions turned out
- put a Task on a schedule and read its state
- check the Task schema before sending a payload

## Example prompts
- List my Figranium tasks and run the one that scrapes prices from product pages
- Create a task that opens the login page, fills the credentials from variables and waits for the dashboard
- Schedule that task for every day at 9am and show me the schedule
