# Everpod

Lets the agent you already run see your Everpod pods and order a new one. You pay in the browser, not the agent.

## What it does

Everpod is a cloud machine that keeps your agent running around the clock — Claude, Codex or whatever else you use. This MCP server is the bridge: your existing agent reaches into your Everpod account and starts a pod on your behalf. It lives at `https://everpod.ai/mcp`, so there is nothing to install or host yourself.

A key grants two things: reading the pods on your account and starting a new one. It cannot pay, alter or cancel a plan, delete anything, open the agent control panel, or touch a developer pod's machine. Create the key at `everpod.ai/account/keys` by signing in with your email and the code sent to you; signing in also creates an account if you have none. Clients connect over HTTP and pass the key as `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY`.

Three tools sit behind it. `list_pods` returns the account's pods oldest first, each with its kind, status and the link the owner needs. `get_pod` reads a single pod by id — the way to check payment, readiness, and for a developer pod which connection steps are done. `start_pod` creates a pod, either an OpenClaw one or, with kind 'developer', a developer pod. Starting costs nothing at the call: the pod stays unpaid until its owner opens `pay_url` and pays there. If an unpaid pod already exists, calling again hands back that same pod under the new name and kind. On a developer pod, the steps that open the machine are yours to take.

## When to use it
- see which pods already exist on an Everpod account
- start a new pod without leaving the agent chat
- check whether a pod has been paid for and is ready
- find out which developer pod connection steps are done
- rename an unpaid pod for a different task

## Example prompts
- Start an Everpod pod named Otto and tell me where to pay.
- Start a developer pod named atlas with alex as my username, and show me the payment link.
