## What it does

The server connects an MCP client to esa. It can search and retrieve articles, create or edit them, handle comments and categories, inspect team details, and access attachments. Other tools archive an article, remove its WIP status, duplicate it, or restore an earlier revision.

The package also provides `esa_recent_posts`, a resource for recently updated articles, and `esa_summarize_post`, a prompt that returns a structured summary. Communication uses STDIO. You need an `ESA_ACCESS_TOKEN` with suitable permissions; the server cannot access esa without it. Claude Code runs the package through `npx`.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `ESA_ACCESS_TOKEN` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
