## What it does

Editmamei runs as a Node MCP server over stdio. The client starts it as a subprocess, then each tool call builds a Photoshop script. Windows uses COM; macOS uses AppleScript / OSA. Photoshop performs the actual work with adjustment layers, masks, selections, and filters.

Local ONNX vision can detect faces, objects, and scene areas and return document coordinates. The server targets Adobe Photoshop 2026 (v27.x) on Windows 10/11 or macOS 13+. The npm setup needs Node.js 22+. Without Photoshop 2026 (v27.x), the listed setup cannot operate as intended.

## When to use it
- apply a photo edit from a natural-language request
- place a subject on its own layer with a mask
- check an edit with a histogram and region comparison
- export an edited image as a web JPEG

## Example prompts
- Open my vacation photo and make the sky more dramatic while keeping the foreground natural.
- Put the main subject on a separate layer and create a clean mask around it.
- Inspect the result with a histogram, then export a 2048px web JPEG.
