## What it does

Eased is a set of animated React components built for shadcn. The MCP server exposes that catalog to your coding agent, so it can look up a component, check its docs and hand you the install line.

It runs over HTTP at `https://eased.dev/api/mcp`. Claude needs a single command; Cursor and GitHub Copilot take a JSON block in their config. The server serves catalog data only — it does not write component code for you.

Components come in through the shadcn CLI, either by registry name or by URL. The CLI drops the source into `components/eased/<name>/`, pulls the npm packages and merges the stylesheet into your global CSS. React 19, Tailwind CSS v4 and a `components.json` are required; without that file run `npx shadcn init` first.
