## What it does

This MCP integration links your development environment directly to DottedSign through a remote endpoint at `https://mcp.dottedsign.com/dottedsign-api/mcp`. Instead of switching to a browser window, you direct the assistant to pick document templates and dispatch contracts. Just provide the recipient details and document title.

The server provides tools for inspecting agreement fields and launching template tasks. If you already stored a signature image in your profile, the model can sign paperwork on your behalf.

Account tiers matter here. Dispatching documents requires a paid DottedSign plan. A free tier only supports browsing existing records, so sending out signature requests fails without an upgrade. Initial setup prompts for standard browser authentication.
