## What it does

Dooit is a keyboard-first personal task manager. Its MCP server reaches into your board, agenda, projects and weekly, monthly and yearly goals. Reading works on any account. Writing is another story: creating, rescheduling, completing, archiving and deleting tasks needs an active subscription and is rate limited.

The tools come in groups. `get_board` and `get_agenda` supply context. Task work runs through `list_tasks`, `get_task`, `create_task`, `update_task`, `set_task_done`, `archive_task` and `delete_task`. Projects use `create_project` and `update_project`, goals use `list_goals`, `create_goal` and `update_goal`. Start with `get_board` — it hands back today's date in the user's timezone along with the status and project ids that every write depends on.

Auth is OAuth 2.1 with dynamic client registration, so there is no API key to paste. A Dooit account is still required. The server is hosted and runs as part of the app; this repository holds metadata and docs only, so there is nothing to run locally.
