Lets an agent check a domain or an email address against open data: registration, DNS, mail setup, site stack. No API key.

## What it does

Six tools land in the agent. `domain_intel` pulls registrar, creation and expiry dates, domain age, EPP statuses, nameservers and an abuse contact out of RDAP. `dns_lookup` returns A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, CNAME and SOA records over Cloudflare DoH, while `email_deliverability` reads MX presence plus SPF and DMARC posture and judges whether the mailbox belongs to a free or disposable provider. Rounding it out are `tech_stack`, which inspects a live page response, `subdomains`, which mines Certificate Transparency logs at crt.sh, and `domain_report`, a single call that bundles registration, DNS, mail and stack facts.

The hosted endpoint sits at `https://domain.datakoot.com/mcp`. Point any supported client at that URL and it works. The free tier allows 100 calls per day with no signup and caps result lists at 10 items. Pro lifts the ceiling to 50,000 calls a month, drops the daily limit and returns full lists; you pass the key as a Bearer token in the `Authorization` header. Only `tools/call` counts against quota, so connecting and listing tools stays free.

RDAP, Cloudflare DNS and crt.sh supply the data, which means private zones and internal networks return nothing useful. The `worker.js` file in the repository is a snapshot of the hosted code, not a synced copy — the live endpoint is deployed on its own and can run ahead of it. Self-hosting requires a Cloudflare Workers account.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://domain.datakoot.com/mcp`

## Install

```
### Codex
**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add domain-company-intel-mcp --url https://domain.datakoot.com/mcp
```
### Cursor
**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
            "url": "https://domain.datakoot.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http domain-company-intel-mcp https://domain.datakoot.com/mcp
```

## When to use it
- find out who registered a domain and when
- check whether a domain's mail is protected against spoofing
- see what a competitor's site is built on
- enumerate a target's public subdomains
- gather a company dossier from its domain in one call

## Example prompts
- Check acme.com: when was it registered, who is the registrar, is it still active?
- Can a mailbox at @acme.io receive mail, and is the provider disposable?
- Pull a full domain report for target.com.
