## What it does

Doksi runs as a hosted service over streamable HTTP at `https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp`. It exposes 30 capability tools to the assistant. The workflow enforces discovery first: tools like `kind_list` and `doc_requirements` reveal mandatory fields before any rendering occurs.

The model tests drafts using `doc_validate` to catch formatting errors early. Signatures operate as standalone requests rather than simple document flags. Signers receive individual links or QR codes, which owners can expire or revoke independently.

Doksi will not lay out arbitrary freeform pages because it only accepts defined document kinds. Pure print-ready output requires credits or a plan, whereas unpaid renders produce watermarked previews.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http doksi https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add doksi --url https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "doksi": {
            "url": "https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "doksi": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http doksi https://doksi.publifye.com/mcp
```

## When to use it
- render structured agreements and notices into formatted PDFs
- verify document schemas before spending compilation credits
- issue distinct signing requests with dedicated links or QR codes
- revoke active signing links without destroying the target file

## Example prompts
- Inspect fields with `doc_requirements` for an agreement and draft the body
- Run `doc_validate` on this draft before compiling the final PDF
- Create a signature request link and QR code for this document ID
