## What it does

devcoach attaches to your agent workflow after completed assignments. Once a task finishes, a pacing check triggers the coaching skill. The server tracks concepts you already understand, filters out duplicate topics, and renders a concise lesson card directly in the stream.

Everything runs on your local machine. All learning logs stay in a SQLite database at `~/.devcoach/coaching.db`. Under the hood, the server relies on the TypeScript MCP SDK, Commander, Hono for the browser dashboard, and the embedded `node:sqlite` package. No telemetry leaves the computer.

You must have Node.js 24 or newer installed. On older runtimes, the embedded `node:sqlite` module is missing, which causes the process to crash immediately. Local stdio transport also means browser-only environments like `claude.ai` web will not connect.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
