## What it does

The service acts as a hosted remote server using Streamable HTTP. It exposes four specific tools to your client: `create_intent_contract`, `check_agent_boundary`, `record_completion_proof`, and `export_intent_receipt`. These functions help models document their scope and return verifiable JSON logs.

Access requires an active subscription. Production calls fail unless you supply a bearer token obtained from the vendor's site. Unauthenticated requests to the endpoint return a JSON error instead of server internals. Note that the public repository contains only docs, as the server implementation remains closed.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http decapodkernel-mcp https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add decapodkernel-mcp --url https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "decapodkernel-mcp": {
            "url": "https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "decapodkernel-mcp": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http decapodkernel-mcp https://decapodkernel.clauxel.com/mcp
```

## When to use it
- define intent contracts before agent execution
- enforce operational boundaries during multi-step runs
- log structured JSON completion proofs
- export verifiable receipts for audits

## Example prompts
- Call `create_intent_contract` to define the execution boundaries for this task.
- Run `check_agent_boundary` before applying database changes.
- Use `export_intent_receipt` to generate an audit log for the completed session.
