# ČSFD

## What it does

ČSFD connects an agent to the Czech-Slovak film database. It can search films, TV series, creators, and users, fetch a film or series record, and retrieve user ratings and reviews. Ask it to look up a title or gather details about its creators.

The MCP server runs through `npx -y node-csfd-api`. The package also includes an API and export tools, while the MCP component handles requests from an agent. Film records can include a title, year, genres, rating, and creator details. This is an unofficial scraper for ČSFD.cz, so changes to that site can disrupt data retrieval.

## When to use it
- search the ČSFD database for films and series
- retrieve a film record by its ČSFD ID or URL
- find the creators listed for a title
- look up a user's ratings and reviews

## Example prompts
