## What it does

This server bridges COROS watches and fitness records with language models over an HTTP endpoint. It lets an assistant inspect your workout logs, lap splits, HRV, sleep metrics, stress scores, and raw `.fit` files. You can track training loads over several months or see how your pace held up on recent long runs.

The connection handles updates as well as queries. Your assistant can outline an entire training schedule around an upcoming target race, set up single workout sessions, and add them directly to your COROS calendar. Once confirmed, those updates sync with your profile immediately.

Setup points directly to `https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp` and prompts you to authorize account access. The COROS service itself is free, though your chosen AI client may require its own subscription or apply rate limits to external tool requests.

## Requirements
- Remote server: `https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp`

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
claude mcp add --transport http coros-mcp https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp
```

### Codex

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
codex mcp add coros --url https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp
```

### Cursor

**Config file**
File `.cursor/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "mcpServers": {
        "coros": {
            "url": "https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Config file**
File `.vscode/mcp.json`:
```json
{
    "servers": {
        "coros": {
            "type": "http",
            "url": "https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp"
        }
    }
}
```

### Gemini CLI

**Platform CLI: remote server**
```bash
gemini mcp add -t http coros https://mcpus.coros.com/mcp
```

## When to use it
- compare heart rate and pace across recent workout splits
- inspect sleep and HRV trends relative to weekly training volume
- generate a race preparation schedule and add it to the calendar
- download raw `.fit` files to inspect laps and custom segments

## Example prompts
- Compare pace and heart rate between my last two long runs during the final miles.
- Review my HRV and sleep trends over the past two weeks against my running volume.
- Draft a training schedule for an upcoming half marathon and save it to my COROS calendar.
