# Common Paper

## What it does

This integration connects your AI client to Common Paper via `https://api.commonpaper.com/mcp` over HTTP. Authentication relies on OAuth. You sign in through your browser instead of copying keys. The server lets you query signed NDAs and track agreements expiring within 90 days.

All agreements begin as drafts. The assistant asks for confirmation before sending emails or voiding agreements. For actions like uploading Word files or filtering by company, it calls the REST API using `curl`.

An active Common Paper account is mandatory. Without network access to `api.commonpaper.com` and template permissions in your workspace, tool calls will fail.
