## What it does

Four tools sit behind the endpoint. `create_run_receipt` builds the receipt for a run, `summarize_scope` writes down what the change covers, `list_missing_evidence` flags spots with nothing to back them up, and `export_client_handoff` packages the result for delivery. Nothing runs on your machine — the service is hosted.

Transport is Streamable HTTP, so your client has to support remote servers of that kind. Calls need a bearer token issued on the product site; hitting `/mcp` without one returns a JSON error rather than tool output. The token comes after you pick a plan, so a paid subscription is the first step.

For Claude the whole setup is `claude mcp add --transport http codexrunledger-mcp https://codexrunledger.clauxel.com/mcp`. The endpoint URL stays the same across clients; only the config syntax changes.
