## What it does

CloudeIDE is a code editor with an AI agent inside it. This MCP server exposes the same abilities to an outside agent: editing code, making sense of a codebase, handling files, fixing bugs.

It runs as `npx -y cloudeide` over stdio. You need a `CLOUDEIDE_TOKEN`, and some setups also take a `CLOUDEIDE_API_URL`. No token means no authorization, so grab one from CloudeIDE first.

Setup differs per platform: Claude, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cline, Zed and Gemini CLI each get their own command or JSON block.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)
- Environment variables: `CLOUDEIDE_TOKEN`, `CLOUDEIDE_API_URL` — keys and tokens: ask the human for the values, never commit them or put them in shared files.
