## What it does

The server searches the content of Claude Code conversations across projects. Results include the project, date, a conversation summary, and a `claude --resume` command for picking up where you left off. It also creates short directory links under `~/.cs/` to help you navigate to a project.

Search runs on SQLite FTS5, with indexing updated as files change. The index covers conversations, not project files. You need Node.js 18+ and Claude Code with MCP support; the server runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows. It won't search text in your source files.

## Requirements
- Needs: Node.js (commands run via npx)

- locate a conversation by topic across projects
- find where an error or configuration was discussed
- get a command to resume an older conversation
- reach a project through a short directory link

- Find where we discussed the database setup.
- Search another project for the conversation about the login issue.
