Brings project memory and Telegram alerts to coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor. Preserves context across sessions.

## What it does

The server connects your coding assistant to a Chip Telegram account. When an IDE context window clears, your past notes, task progress, and previous decisions remain available. A dedicated `whats_new` tool pulls only recent project updates. Returning to an unchanged project takes 63 tokens instead of 2538.

The full registry provides 27 tools. Your agent can push updates with `notify_me` or ask questions through Telegram buttons with `ask_user`. Switching to a read-only token limits the list to 11 tools. That cuts 1750 tokens from the initial declaration schema.

Chip formats tool responses in Russian and bills in rubles. To use the integration, you must first generate an access token through the `@ChipAI_robot` Telegram bot.

## When to use it
- recall project context and notes across separate coding sessions
- send Telegram notifications when long commands or test suites finish
- prompt developers for decisions via Telegram interactive buttons
- reduce token overhead on session startup with incremental diffs

## Example prompts
- Check Chip for any project changes made since our last session
- Add a note in Chip explaining the database migration steps we finished
- Send a Telegram notification through Chip once the build completes
