## What it does

This MCP server links your development client to a ChatRail workspace. It lets your assistant check connection statuses, query group sizes, and diagnose why a specific WhatsApp message failed to reach the recipient. Privacy safeguards are built in. Tool outputs intentionally omit text bodies, phone numbers, and workspace credentials.

State modifications follow a two-step confirmation pattern. Actions like rescheduling a draft, canceling an upcoming message, or replaying a dead webhook display a preview first. The server executes them only when invoked again with `confirm: true`. Direct message dispatch is not supported through MCP; sending still requires standard REST calls.

Server access demands a ChatRail Core + AI or Team subscription. You can link remotely via OAuth at `https://www.chatrail.dev/v1/mcp` or launch a local stdio process via the `chatrail-mcp` npm package using a workspace API key with `mcp:read` or `mcp:write` scopes.
